Halloween Parties – Orange County
Halloween is fairly more low-key in Orange County than Los Angeles, but that doesn’t mean that the holiday doesn’t warrant a celebration. Even though Los Angeles has its Hollywood Boulevard Block Party and other crazy costume events, Orange County has other Halloween events that are geared toward families such as parades, festivals, and haunted houses.
However, for students in Orange County schools, Halloween is a special day at school that often warrants a party and other student festivities including games, live entertainment, and a costume contest. Bobbing for apples is always considered to be the archetypical school Halloween party game; students stand in line and “bob” for apples in a tub of water and the prize is the apple the student can grab with his or her teeth.
